Negin was referred to me by a friend who had a great experience with her. She met me at a time when I was scared, worried and vulnerable. Skillful Super Attorney.
My search for an Attorney to defend me successfully took me to the Law Office of Negin Yamini. I was charged with two counts of felonies of Rape! I needed a smart Attorney that can think outside the box that will represent me diligently and fight for me because my life depended on it. Also, this was very important to me, money; I was looking for one that can accommodate my lean and limited financial muscle, out of all the Attorneys that I shortlisted, Ms. Yamini came out like a sore thumb, our first meeting told me she was the one to let me off the hook. Her charges were fair and moderate, she worked with me every step of the way (I missed so many payment deadlines. Lol.) She never stopped being my Attorney, she would rather say "I will fight for you". During pretrials, she represented me well and got the best deal that they could offer but I turned it down telling her "I want to clear my name because I was wrongly accused" she said "If you choose to go to trial fine, I will fight for you and I will give my best but with the jury trial it is a 50/50 thing, I am not guaranteeing anything but I will fight for you" Those were her words. She and her team worked day and night on the case, and went over the evidence and discoveries presented by the prosecutor line by line with a 'magnifying glass and comb'. Having done a 'surgical dismantling' of such discoveries she approached the prosecutor asking him politely to drop the case, she went ahead to intimate the prosecutor with such reasons, but he was adamant. When the trial started, she tapped my shoulder and said "we got this" that meant a lot to me, with the prosecution team and all the resources, help, and advantages they had; my Attorney assured me that we got this! She made deft and skillful moves during the jury selection that gladdened my heart. I remember looking at the petite size of ms Yamini compared to the almost gigantic size of the prosecutor and my mind went to the story of David and Goliath in the Holy Bible, despite the size of the giant Goliath and his armies and weapons, David won the battle with a sling and one stone. She took the air out of the sail of the prosecution ship by getting the judge to throw out what they had intended as the most potent and powerful weapon in their arsenal. At this point Ms. Yamini openly asked the prosecutor in the open court if he likes to ask for a dismissal of the case with their relied evidence out of the window, but he remained adamant. Ms. Yemini held everyone in the courtroom spellbound during her opening, crossexamination of a "difficult complainant" and her closing were superb and extraordinary, she used well-annotated PowerPoint to make mincemeat of the prosecutor's case and she lectured them effectively on what reasonable doubt means and she was able to appeal to the jurors' conscience and common sense. She turned the prosecutor into a mere spectator in what was supposed to be his show! Eventually, the jury reached a verdict and exonerated me of both charges. Ms. Yamini and her team come highly recommended.

Being in a situation that requires you to look for a defense attorney, you are already in a tough situation. I guarantee you that it will be exponentially worse without a competent lawyer you can trust, like Ms.Yamini. Many lawyers promise you the world before the retainer fee is paid, only to ghost you afterwards. What I loved about Ms.Yamini was that, setting aside what is fair and just, she was completely transparent about realistic expectations of the outcome. Since day 1, Ms.Yamini shared her opinion on which matters she was certain she could win and those she felt 50/50. Outcome was precisely as she predicted. At the court hearing, Ms.Yamini held entire control. The way how she subtly built the narrative through a precise order of questioning before delivering a punchline and how she handled unexpected turns were truly a work of art. Finally, I want to bring attention to Ms.Yamini's character. My case was relatively a trivial matter that usually gets resolved before going to a court-hearing in most cases. Therefore, we agreed upon a flat fee. Through no fault of Ms.Yamini, things became unexpectedly complicated and required her coming into the court in person multiple times. I honestly feel that, in retrospect, the amount of time she had to spend justified a higher price. Despite this, Ms.Yamini never expressed any complaints or try to convince me pay more, not once. Her work ethic remained consistent regardless throughout the duration. As a conscientious person myself, I give much credit to Ms.Yamini's attitude of doing a good job simply for the sake of doing a good job, not because of the reward in doing so. Do yourself a favor and please find yourself a good attorney. Without a competent lawyer like Ms.Yamini, you will feel like the entire world is against you.

Almost a year ago, I met a woman in college who tutored me in a stats course. Eventually, we ended up hooking up after which, she began to get "clingy"... If you're seeking legal defense services, you're already in great need of a competent, compassionate and intelligent defense counsel that can be relied upon in court and (just as importantly) in preparations for it. In our case, we got this and more as Negin was able to negotiate an agreement with the DA which gave her client ( my family member) a palatable remedy that once finished would result in a "complete dismissal of the charges made". Negin Yamini was contacted and hired by my former employer, a medical marijuana delivery service, when I was arrested in the city of Sierra Madre while on the job back in October 2014. In the process a "want to be cop" guy saw us and turns on sirens in his truck. Believe me, he did. He ends up rear ending me, I CALLED 911. The lady that I cut off saw what happen, turned around and came back. The guy told her I call the cops, they both made up lies and told the police I tried to run them off the road and that I slammed on my brakes in front of them. As a result I was charged, without the police hearing my story. The process was long, which got me very impatient at times. The prosecutor offered me a plea of reckless driving with jail time; THANK GOD Negin advised me against it. We went to trial which resulted in my favor. I can sincerely tell you I felt Ms Yamini left no stones unturned; she searched for evidence that would prove I was innocent. She even subpoenaed the alleged victim's phone record to prove she was lying. Oh yes! On the stand, the lady indicated in her testimony that she feared for her life. Negin asked the lady why she did not call 911. After all, this lady said six to seven times I tried to run her off the road into oncoming traffic. I swear that is a lie! The lady said she did not have her phone; she left it at work the night before. Well the phone records showed she make multiple phone calls before the incident, proving she indeed had a phone. Yet, none to 911 despite fearing for her life. Considering the outcome was in my favor I still feel very sad and depressed knowing that all it takes is for some disgruntle person to make up a story and my life could have be ruined. Nothing hurts more than being accused of something you didn't do. Oh one final note, to prove to you what a gem Negin is. I took the stand to testify on my birthday; the weekend after the trial ended, Ms. Yamini invited me to dinner to celebrate my birthday. I told you she is awesome! I never forget Negin; I will always be grateful for the her sincerity and genuine ways.

Well this is going to be an amazing review so get ready everybody........I'm fresh out of court and must write this review now. In the beginning I thought all defense attorneys were a bottom of the barrel bunch who get criminals off the hook. An amazing twist has changed my perspective dramatically. Amazingly I was now the one accused of being the criminal under false pretenses of course. My beautiful Dominican wife came to the US to marry me for love...or at lease I thought. As it turned out she was nothing but a scum sucking goal digger who wanted a green card and money to boot. It hurts to write that because I loved that girl but she screwed up in a major way.
